- Assisted and represented one of the country’s leading property and construction companies in ongoing litigation disputes concerning LAD claims.
- Assisted in drafting and preparing legal documents in a high-profile white-collar crime case involving the mismanagement of funds amounting to billions of ringgits by high-level government officials and executives.
- Contributed to a workplace investigation on behalf of the Head Office, focusing on three high-level executives suspected of grievous misconduct. Tasks included formulating comprehensive interview questions, conducting interviews with senior lawyers, preparing detailed interview statements, and vetting company policies. As a result, two executives were dismissed, and the third reached a mutual separation agreement with the company.
- Contributed to an international remediation payment process for over 400 foreign employees on behalf of a local employer to mitigate claims of non-compliance with international labor laws and standards. Coordinated with finance managers, foreign counsels, international banks, and conducted data verification to ensure seamless and timely payments, successfully lifting the international import bans imposed on our client.
- Majorly assisted in a pro bono employment case in collaboration with an NGO pertaining to a migrant worker’s rights to his entitled PERKESO benefits after suffering from a workplace accident. Successfully secured employer cooperation, ensuring the concerned families could rightfully claim the relevant benefits from PERKESO.
- Assisted and drafted advice for an O&G company regarding TMT laws in Malaysia concerning the client’s technology and usage operations.
- Contributed to a copyright and trademark infringement enforcement exercise for leading brands across various product categories, resulting in the successful delisting of approximately 50 infringing goods from the relevant websites.
- Prepared comprehensive reports addressing Provisional Refusal for over 30 trademarks in their respective goods and services, catering to both local and international clients, including national (MY IPO) and international (WIPO) marks.
- Provided regulatory and compliance advice to top cosmetic and food brands, ensuring clients meet strict industry regulations and safety standards.
- Assisted in drafting legal advice for a well-known sports brand in compliance with advertising and marketing laws.
- Provided legal opinions to a well-known private tertiary education provider regarding compliance with relevant legal requirements, policies, guidelines, circulars, and the Ministry of Education.
