She has represented clients from a wide spectrum of industries, including shipping stakeholders, financial institutions, manufacturers and distributors, oil and gas companies, logistics and transportation companies, education institutions, government-linked corporations, solar energy producers and property managers.
Her experience involves advising on domestic and cross-border corporate financing transactions and the legality, validity and enforceability of security instruments; advising on ship financing, leasing, sale and purchase, registrations, creation of securities, registration of mortgages and related securitization of vessels; advising on mergers and acquisitions of companies in domestic and cross-border transactions; conducting legal due diligence; advising on international trade and the import and export regulation in Malaysia; reviewing of data privacy policies and contracts for compliance with personal data protection and privacy laws; advising on corporate governance and shareholder disputes; advising on anti-money laundering, anti-corruption, breach of trust, financial regulations and securities legislations.
- Acted for a public listed oil and gas company in its disposal of vessel to one of the largest exclusive developer and regulator of ports in Abu Dhabi for a purchase consideration of USD$71,500,000-00;
- Acted for a public listed Indian non-resident bank in connection with a corporate guarantee to secure an Indian law governed facility of INR1,125,000,000-00 granted to a resident;
- Acted for a Malaysian public listed oil and gas corporation in its acquisition of 51% ordinary equity interest in a private limited company for a total cash consideration of RM8,000,000-00;
- Acted for a leading Malaysian integrated rolling stock and rail service company in relation to a joint venture with an Indonesian state-owned rolling stock manufacturer to supply rolling stock such as wagons and diesel multiple units to the Government of Malaysia;
- Acted for a state-owned entity in Perak in its joint venture with a local partner to apply for a concession from Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad, the Ministry of Transport or any other relevant authority to use, operate and develop the Sultan Azlan Shah Airport (Ipoh Airport) for a concession period of thirty (30) years plus thirty (30) years;
- Acted for a state-owned entity in Perak in the granting of mining concession to mining companies;
- Acted for a Malaysian public listed reinsurer in the corporate exercise of bonus issue of 106,534,750 new ordinary shares of RM1.00 each;
- Acted for a Malaysian public listed oil and gas corporation in the corporate exercise of par value reduction of share and the establishment of a new employees’ share option scheme of up to 10% of the issued and paid-up share capital of the company.
