With over a decade of experience across private practice and in-house roles, Phing Zhou offers a commercially attuned and strategic approach to dispute management. He regularly advises clients in the construction, energy, and manufacturing sectors, and has acted as counsel in arbitrations convened under the ICC, SIAC, AIAC, and UNCITRAL rules.

- Acted for a Malaysian steel manufacturer in an ICC arbitration governed under Singapore law against a European engineering firm for the supply, design and manufacturing of a bespoke thin slab casting mill.
- Acted for a multinational chemicals company in statutory adjudication proceedings involving approximately RM10 million in claims, arising from the construction and commissioning of a polyester resin production plant in Malaysia.
- Acted for a Malaysian regulatory body in a dispute concerning the supply, integration and commissioning of an enterprise resource management system.
- Acted for a Malaysian public-listed company in an arbitration under the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules concerning the mobilisation and demobilisation of mobile offshore production units in Malaysia.
- Acted for a Malaysian private limited company in an arbitration commenced under the rules of the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration, which concerned the construction and commissioning of a pulp and paper mill.
- Acted for a private limited company in disputes arising from the construction of a 100MW hyperscale data centre.
