Oon & Bazul emerged runner-up in the Chief Justice Cup 2018, Bowl Division

Oon & Bazul participated in the CJ’s Cup Futsal Tournament 2018 and emerged runner up in the Bowl Division.

Into its third year, the annual competition took place on 30 June 2018 at the Kovan Sports Centre. 17 teams comprising lawyers, Legal Service Officers, law students and ex-offenders battled it out on the futsal pitch in support of a meaningful cause, the Yellow Ribbon Fund (YRF).

The joint charity event co-organised by the Singapore Academy of Law (SAL) and YRF, raised S$107,100 for the YRF-SAL STAR (Skills Training Assistance to Restart) Bursary, which provides educational bursaries to financially disadvantaged ex-offenders for vocational and skills training. We are proud to have fielded a team and be part of the legal community who are actively involved in the education as well as rehabilitation of ex-offenders.
