Oon & Bazul sponsors inaugural Criminal Bar Charity Gala 2018

Oon & Bazul is proud to be a sponsor of The Law Society’s inaugural Criminal Bar Charity Gala Dinner held on 6 April 2018 at the Marina Mandarin Hotel.

This is the criminal bar’s marquee event for 2018 where all net proceeds will be donated to its adopted beneficiary, the Yellow Ribbon Fund. Launched in June 2004, the Yellow Ribbon Fund is the first and only national charitable fund devoted entirely towards the development and implementation of rehabilitation and reintegration programmes for ex-offenders and their families.

Specifically, the objectives of the Fund are to provide financial support for:

• Rehabilitative and aftercare services
• Rehabilitation and reintegration support programmes for family members
• Public awareness programmes

The event will feature an exciting performance by an ex-inmate, a band performance by criminal lawyers and a special auction of paintings by inmates.
Minister for Home Affairs and Law Mr K Shanmugam is the Guest-of-Honour; distinguished guests include Senior Minister of State for Law and Finance Indranee Rajah and Attorney-General Lucien Wong.
